Every month in 2015 I will be traveling to a different State Park. The first park is one of my favorites, Silver Lake State Park in Mears, MI. I find it to be one of the most unique and surreal places on Michigan's west coast. When traversing the more than 2,000 acres of sand dunes you feel almost as though you're on a completely different planet.
