Fisherman's Island in Charlevoix has over six miles of rocky Lake Michigan shore. It does not, however, have an island. Years of low water levels have turned what used to be an island into a peninsula. It was still rather cold and icy when I was there in late March, as displayed in this image, and while still beautiful I think it might be even more grand in warmer weather.
